Handling goods
You use forklift trucks and other handling equipment to load and unload customer goods, complying with safety instructions and ensuring proper handling of goods. You also move and store goods in warehouses and trucks, optimizing space and ensuring their integrity.
Compliance with procedures
You follow established procedures and work instructions for handling goods. You apply safety rules and handling standards, ensuring that loads are correctly positioned, secured and balanced. You carry out the necessary checks before using handling equipment.
Team cooperation
You work closely with coordinators, movers and other team members to plan and execute handling tasks. You communicate effectively to coordinate goods movements, ensuring that goods are ready for loading or delivery according to agreed schedules.
Equipment maintenance
You are responsible for the preventive maintenance of forklift trucks and other material handling equipment, carrying out regular checks, reporting problems and ensuring equipment is in good working order. You respect safety rules when using them and report any malfunction or need for repair.
